Finn has started talking more. But there are times when I know he's saying something profound, but in his own language which we can't understand one bit but lovingly call "Finnish". Today we were all having some family cuddle time on the couch and Finn very clearly said "bajom bajom ping ping". He looked at Patrick like "don't you agree dad" and we both just laughed. We will have to ask him to explain that one in a year or two. I'm pretty sure it was some witty comment on the current economic status of the United States-which he is following along with me on in the morning and evening news reports. (I think he watches with me bc he secretly lives for the weather and traffic reports). I just love his little gibberish conversations lately-with cars and with us.

Katie, this reminds me of a story my mom used to tell about my brothers Curt and Tom.
Tom would tease Curt, and one day Curt came to mom and, through baby gibberish, asked her a question. She said, "Sure Curt, that's OK." Curt promptly bonked Tom over the head with a truck! Mom couldn't do anything about it because she'd said it was OK!
