Look Dad I do tricks

Alright, this picture about killed me. (yes, I took it, so I knew it was happening) Note that Patrick's left hand is visible below Finn.....as in, not holding him up. Finn is learning balance.....and he's getting better at it. Now, if you are ever asked to watch Finn, please don't try this at your home or ours. Patrick is a great father and would never put Finn in danger, let me make it very clear that he's very careful when he does this with Finn. But, it doesn't make me any less nervous when I see it. I am a mother after all:)

My Aunties

Our friend Shilpa and her mother (and father not pictured) came over to meet Finn for the first time. He has the best Aunties in the whole world. He's still waiting to meet Auntie Sharvari, but she's due to have a baby any day now....we can't wait.

Who stole the cookie from the cookie jar

Finn is officially Sesame Street-ified. I found this cute little cookie monster outfit at Babies R' Us and even though it was totally overpriced....I couldn't pass it up. He's the cutest little monster I've ever seen!
Here he looks a little more like Oscar "the grouch" but Patrick thinks he looks like Blue Steele in Zoolander:) haha!

First Mother's Day

Well, my first Mother's Day was wonderful!!! Finn (and Patrick) bought me these beautiful wicker front portch chairs with matching table. I love to sit out on the front portch and read and hold Finn and now I get to be comfortable while doing it. (you can see the old iron rocker we have to the right, it was not so comfortable). Needless to say I was very happy and excited!!!
Finn is cracking up at me.....he's really started smiling a ton lately. and he's started cooing too. It's so cute when Patrick comes home from work, he tells Finn about his day and Finn talks back so animatedly.

New Stuff

Finn has started a few new things.....finding himself in the mirror, and talking to his reflection......super cute!




And he aso started smiling!!! It is very hard to catch on camera but very rewarding wen we do:) And his shirt says, "I'm your lucky charm"; had to have that one.
