EEG day 3
yes, yes, yet another day of EEG fun. last night Finn threw a fit, and started ripping at his electrodes (while i was changing the gause-it was falling off) so he now has tape on his cheeks and behind his ears....hopefully this will help. we have one electrode that got pulled off and i don't know where it goes, so we may be trecking it back to the hospital to get it put back on today? i am going to make it a mission to design a cap for children getting eeg's done....one that goes around their ears (behind them and infront of them) and ties under their chin...that keeps that stupid transmitter from falling off the top of their head......i'm going to make a fortune....so be nice to me now and you may get a really good christmas present (once my patent is approved:) wink, wink.
There's a video below that shows how much extra weight this transmitter is on his little neck and head....but it's actually helping him figure out how to roll from tummy to back....so i guess it's a learning tool as well:)

Baby Conehead
Who doesn't love Dan Akroid (sp?) in Coneheads....well Finn is a surefire fan this week. He's not practicing his halloween costume (however this would be a good one) but he's having an at-home-eeg for 3 days this week. He had yet another (#9) seizure on Tuesday, and we went to get hooked up to the machinery right after....so I (kt) was very disappointed we weren't hooked up on Monday, but I can't yell at everyone at the hospital for that...so I just hope they get some results that help them diagnose him better.
He's being a pretty good sport about it all....he doesn't seem to mind the tags on his face (even if they do keep falling off). And he's doing well with the extra weight of the transmitter on the top of his head...in fact, it's helping him realize he can use the weight of his head to roll from stomach to back.....or maybe I'm just being hopeful.
Well, off to check on our bionic baby.....I'll try to post some video of him later practicing his robot dance....
