Our boy is 4 months old

Here's Finn with his bear (that Crystal gave him) at the hospital the week he was born.....

And here he is at 4 months with the same bear.....

We went to the doctor today for his 4 month visit....he got his 4 shots and took them pretty well. He cried a bit, but who wouldn't if you got stuck 4 times with needles in your thighs....but as soon as I got him in my arms he subsided. I still think that's the hardest thing to watch; your child getting shots and knowing that it hurts and there's nothing you can do.

He was 18 lbs and 11 oz (i guess he's getting enough to eat) he's in the 98th percentile for weight, then he was 24 1/2" long, which puts him in the 91st percentile for height, and his head is pretty normal 42 cm (56th percentile)......so unless he starts to crawl or roll over soon, we may have the world's smallest white sumo wrestler on our hands.
That bear was starting something, he didn't know who he was dealing with though....
Finn is a LOVER not a FIGHTER....

I said TUMMY TIME!!!

Finn is enjoying his tummy time.....he almost looks angry here, but rest assured he was very very happy. I think he's just voicing his opinion on the coming election:) haha.

Oh, and he's also practicing his surprised look. Not really that hard with those big doe eyes.....
OOh, I think he's ready for when they cast Scream 4, or the spoof Scary Movie 4....I'd prefer Scary Movie 4 because Patrick and I are big fans of Anna Farris..... I think Finn heard my comment about Anna Farris, and I'm not quite sure he's into blonds....I think he might prefer brunettes:)

We had some fun time infront of his new mirror....it was tummy time too....he has really started liking this time we play during the day.

Peek a boo.....pretty much this is toward the end of his tummy time, when his head starts to sink closer and closer to the floor because his neck and back are getting tired.
Here he's talking to himself, so cute, the little oohs and gaaas.
He's just so cute.....but I do realize I MAY be biased.
Okay, so I also thought there needed to be an update on what Finn's been up to. Obviously he's getting bigger, and his neck is much sturdier so he's really enjoying sitting up (with help) he hasn't tackled sitting up on his own yet. We have core muscles to build before that happens. But soon. He's also talking a ton. I think it has to do with the fact that for the first couple of months I was bored/lonely here at home with just the two of us, so I talked to him all the time, and now he's finally talking back. He loves to smile and show off his adorable dimples. He also loves to flirt with girls....mostly my friends, but I just tell those 20-something cougars to stay away. He's still pretty bald, but I love his little bald patch in the back. He hasn't rolled over yet, but he's also a big guy....we'll get the weight count next tuesday, but I think the chunky arms and legs, plus the milk gut make it hard for him to get turned over.

Sitting Duck...or baby

Look who's sitting up with some assistance from his bumbo....

This is his sneaky smile...makes me think he's filling his pants, but he was just giggling.
He has a fondness for his fingers....the toys are fun, but he's still working on getting those to his mouth...the fingers are much easier:)
He's a happy baby that's for sure....

This is probably one of the cutest sleepers ever made....the bunny feet are attached. I love it, not so sure how Finn feels.
Aren't they cute!!!


Those little eye lashes are getting so long....he's got the best eyes.....he takes after Mommy...hehe.
