Auntie Crystal

We had our first official girls night out at one of my best friend Crystal's house. Ainsley got some great cuddling time in as you can see.

Bath time

I know she's already 5 weeks old. But today we gave Ainsley her first bath. Isn't she a cutie? And now shevdmells cute too. She just smelled like baby before it wasn't like she was smelling bad from running marathons or anything. (just justifying why it took us so long to bathe her)

I put this chunkybutfunky picture of me on here so Patrick knew I wasn't picking on him-we've both added a few stress PBS over this past year (but I had the preggo excuse-but no more). This year we are both going to trim back down.

Patrick's sleep study

Patrick went to get a sleep study done last night. Doesn't it look like fun. Thankfully he snored a lot so hopefully they can help us figure out why. And figure out why he's not resting well. (he thinks he's just fat. But I call that chunkybutfunky)

Haircut day

It was time for a haircut. And we didn't have time or energy to go get one so I tried it out. I used to cut my own hair when I was two-but it used to make my mom cry. Hopefully you agree this turned out better.

-
It's hard to cut a little boys hair. They are much squirmier when you are coming at them with a comb and scissors.

Finished-wet.

Dry finished product. I should charge-kisses:)

Solid sleeper

Ainsley looks a lot like Finn did all bundled up-except for the pink.

-sleeping away the chilly day. But we did get out today for a drive bc it was finally above 40.

And Finn looking all dapper.

Family Time

Fun family couch potato time on Tues before our eventful evening of calling 911 and having to take Finn to the ER. He's doing fine now. We are back at home. He just had a bad day of seizures and the last one put him over the edge.

Finn has also learned the art of the spit bubble and therfore has a spit Santa Claus moustache quite often.

Cutest big brother moment

This morning Finn did the sweetest thing. I had just finished feeding Ainsley and was holding her with her feet toward my stomach talking to her and Finn came up with both hands reached out to her. He gently touched the top of her head and then kissed her. He did it so nonchalant that I almost didn't think he really did it. But it was just so gentle and sweet.

He just went right on playing afterwards. But I think he's warming up to her. Up until now he's pretty much ignored her but today he actually gave her some lovies. It was so sweet I just had to share.

Please keep Finn in your prayers today specifically bc he's been having a lot of seizures lately- more than "normal". He is upstairs right now sleeping the one off from this morning. Thanks. God bless.

Family time

Proud cousin Kiera holding little Ainsley. Patrick's older brother, Tim, and his wife Michelle and their two girls Kiera and Delaney brought us dinner tonight. The girls played with Finn and he just adores them-which means he actually plays with them instead of ignoring them. And Kiera was so motherly holding and kissing Ainsley.

Table play

Finn loves his new play table. But he doesn't quite understand the concept of it yet. He wants to climb on top to play.

Today was my first day without help after Ainsley was born. And eventhough Finn and I are a bit under the weather it is going pretty well.
